This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a key role within the firm's senior leadership team. The position offers a strategic yet hands-on remit, working closely with clients on complex tax matters while ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality client service.

This is a pivotal hire for the firm, combining leadership of the tax function with a strong mix of compliance oversight and proactive advisory work, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and driving continued growth of the tax offering.

  • Tax Compliance Leadership: Manage the tax department and team, oversee the review of complex tax returns, handle client and staff tax queries, and manage HMRC enquiries across multiple tax areas.
  • Department Management: Take responsibility for billing, WIP control, and overall efficiency of tax compliance processes within the practice.
  • Tax Advisory & Planning: Lead on tax planning assignments, review client tax positions for efficiency, and produce detailed tax reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Business Development & Client Engagement: Develop new advisory services, strengthen client and third-party relationships, and actively contribute to generating new business for the firm.
