An established organisation with a central role in supporting a vibrant city centre is looking to appoint an experienced Marketing and Events Manager. The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering a comprehensive marketing and events strategy that promotes the city centre, champions local businesses and enhances the overall visitor experience. The role involves managing multi-channel communications, coordinating a year-round programme of events and collaborating closely with partner organisations, agencies and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing marketing, communications and events strategies
- Managing paid and organic campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
- Delivering a varied annual events programme, including seasonal activations
- Producing engaging content for digital, social and print channels
- Tracking performance, reporting on outcomes and demonstrating ROI
- Managing budgets effectively and responsibly
- Liaising with PR consultants, event partners and creative agencies
- Maintaining brand consistency across all communications and materials
- Building and nurturing relationships with local stakeholders and business communities
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in marketing with exposure to events management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver campaigns from concept through to evaluation
- Proven experience managing budgets

- Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and perform well under pressure
