The Opportunity
We are currently partnering with our client to recruit a Legal Executive to join their corporate and legal function. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working across a broad range of legal, compliance, and corporate governance activities. The successful candidate will gain exposure to varied workstreams and gradually take ownership of key responsibilities within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal, Procurement & Data Protection
- Maintain and manage legal documentation, contracts, and internal registers
- Provide administrative and coordination support, including scheduling and stakeholder liaison
- Assist with drafting policies, preparing data rooms, and supporting litigation processes
- Contribute to procurement-related activities such as supplier mapping and spend tracking
- Risk & Compliance
- Support insurance renewal processes through data collection and coordination
- Assist in maintaining risk frameworks and corporate risk registers
- Track and report on risk actions and compliance updates
- Provide support with internal policies and administrative processes
- Company Secretarial
- Maintain company records and statutory registers within internal systems
- Support board and committee processes, including agenda preparation and minute taking
- Assist with document execution and governance processes
- Coordinate responses to due diligence and KYC requests
- General Duties
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Handle sensitive information in line with data protection requirements
- Support ad hoc projects and build knowledge of governance and compliance processes
About You
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within a corporate, legal, or regulated environment
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to support multiple stakeholders
- Competence in Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Desirable Criteria
- A degree in law or a related discipline, or relevant professional qualification
- Experience working in a legal, compliance, or regulatory setting
- Familiarity with governance processes, approvals, or risk management frameworks
