An established organisation with significant long-term investment assets is seeking an Investment Manager to join its investment team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of investment activities within a well-established organisation managing substantial long-term assets. You will work alongside experienced professionals and play an important role in supporting investment outcomes and strategic objectives. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse global investment portfolio, supporting investment decision-making, overseeing external investment partners, and contributing to the ongoing development of investment strategy and governance. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring investment performance, evaluating opportunities and risks, managing relationships with external providers, and delivering high-quality analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders.
This is a 1 year maternity cover. On offer £50k - £57k Enhanced employer pension, 15% Onsite parking 38 days leave 35hr work week
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor investment portfolios and provide insight on performance, risk and market developments.
- Support investment strategy implementation across a range of asset classes.
- Conduct investment research and due diligence on existing and prospective investments.
- Manage relationships with external investment managers, advisers and service providers.
- Analyse portfolio performance and prepare reports for senior stakeholders.
- Review investment-related costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Support liquidity planning and investment implementation activities.
- Contribute to governance, compliance and risk management processes.
- Assist with responsible investment and sustainability-related initiatives where appropriate.
- Mentor and support junior members of the team.
