We're partnering with a leading and growing organisation to appoint a Group Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to gain exposure across a multi-entity business while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Group Financial Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely group reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting strategic initiatives across the wider organisation. This position offers broad exposure to group finance activities, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing finance transformation projects.

The Role:

  • Preparation of monthly group management & stat accounts, and financial reporting packs
  • Supporting the group month-end close activities
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and support with year-end audit requirements
  • Ensuring robust financial controls, governance, and compliance procedures are maintained
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Supporting finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working closely with finance teams and stakeholders across the wider group
  • Assisting with the implementation of best practice reporting processes and controls

About You:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Previous experience within a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant, Audit, or Financial Reporting role
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
