An experienced Financial Controller is required on a contract basis to support global accounting operations during a key period of transformation. The contractor will take ownership of core accounting processes, support financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions, and provide leadership to a small accounting team. This role requires someone who can quickly embed into an organisation, operate hands-on across operational accounting activities, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple international entities.
- Manage and review month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and multi-entity reporting processes.
- Lead and coordinate statutory audits and work closely with external auditors.
- Oversee global cash flow monitoring and support short- and long-term cash forecasting.
- Provide financial reporting and insight to senior finance leadership.
- Manage and support a small team of accounting professionals while driving process improvements.
Required Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidation accounting.
- Experience managing statutory audits and multi-entity environments.
