An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join a successful PE backed business during a significant period of growth.

Working closely with an experienced CFO, this newly created position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role within the finance function while supporting strategic decision-making across the wider business.

The successful candidate will lead a small finance team, ensure robust financial reporting and controls, and contribute to the continued development of financial systems and commercial insight.

The Role Leading and developing a small finance team.

Managing the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting annual statutory reporting.

Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance across the finance function.

Managing working capital, cash flow and credit control activities.

Working closely with the CFO to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.

Optimising a recently implemented ERP system to enhance reporting and financial controls.

Developing meaningful financial reporting and commercial insights using Power BI.

Managing the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors.

Ensuring all tax filings and statutory obligations are completed accurately and on time.

The Person Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance position.

Strong financial reporting and technical accounting knowledge.

Experience leading or mentoring finance teams.

Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability.

Experience with Power BI, ERP systems or light manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential What's on Offer Competitive salary.
