This appointment comes at a pivotal time as the business continues to scale operations and expand services across the island of Ireland. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will take ownership of the finance function, providing strong financial leadership, improving reporting capability, and ensuring the business is equipped with the financial insight needed to support continued growth. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance leader seeking a role with real influence at leadership level.

The Role

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process to support strategic decision-making and business growth
  • Combine strategic leadership with practical, hands-on involvement in finance operations
  • Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts alongside statutory reporting and audit coordination across ROI and the UK
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting standards within a regulated environment
  • Enhance financial systems, processes and reporting capability to support the next phase of growth
  • Provide commercial insight and detailed financial analysis to support operational and executive decision-making

The Candidate

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader, ideally within a scaling organisation
  • Strong commercial awareness with demonstrable experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis
  • Experience preparing board-level reporting
  • Knowledge of financial reporting requirements across both ROI and the UK
  • Exposure to multi-site or cross-border operations would be highly advantageous
