We are working with a leading corporate law firm based in Belfast who are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join their Finance Department on a fixed-term basis (12–14 months) to cover maternity leave, commencing April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a top-tier professional services environment.
Reporting into the Finance team, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function within a busy and structured setting. Accuracy, organisation, and the ability to work to deadlines are essential in this fast-paced environment. This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys working across transactional finance, supporting billing processes, and liaising with internal stakeholders in a professional office setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and on a timely basis
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Managing the monthly creditor payment run in line with agreed terms
- Inputting client disbursement charges and preparing cheques
- Responding to queries from fee‑earning colleagues regarding client disbursements and ledgers
