A well-established professional services organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Executive to join its Risk & Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in AML, onboarding, compliance or regulatory administration within a regulated environment. The successful candidate will support the ongoing delivery of compliance, onboarding, quality assurance and risk management processes while working closely with internal stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage client onboarding and matter opening processes in line with AML and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct KYC, CDD, enhanced due diligence, sanctions screening and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Support fee earners and internal teams with onboarding, compliance and file management queries.
- Assist with compliance remediation activities, audits, file reviews and quality assurance checks.
- Escalate potential compliance or financial crime risks appropriately and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain compliance systems, workflows, registers and management information reports.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of compliance procedures.
- Assist with training, awareness activities and maintaining a strong compliance culture across the business.
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience in compliance, AML, onboarding, risk, or quality assurance within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, and client due diligence processes.
- Experience within legal or professional services environments would be advantageous.
