Artemis Human Capital are recruiting for a Commercial Manager on behalf of a leading Print business.

The Commercial Manager will assume responsibility for the Commercial and Business activities and performance of the Company.

The Commercial Manager has accountability for the profitable growth, operational effectiveness, and strategic development of the business, ensuring the Company delivers premium design and print services while maintaining strong margins, excellent client relationships, and a high-performing team.

Reporting to the CEO, the post holder will be de facto responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company and sit as a member of the wider Group management team, with core responsibilities to include: Maximising the return/margin on all products and services provided by the Company, whilst positioning the business as one that provides competitive yet excellent Design and Print services.

Adding revenue to the business through developing your own client list for both the Print division and the Studio division.

The development of a strong, effective, knowledgeable sales team that generates revenue through excellent services and products.

The growth and development of the Studio division, providing premium Brand Design and Graphic Design services to clients, new and existing.

The continued profitable growth of the Print division, providing Premium Digital, Large Format and Finishing Services to clients, new and existing.

Developing oneself, developing knowledge of the wider industry, and playing an integral part of the wider management team.

Pursuing the digitisation of SOPs for the Company, the growth of new clients, and providing leadership to peers and members of the team.

Taking ownership of budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against targets.

Assuming full day-to-day operational responsibility for the Company, including people, premises, processes, and performance.

Experience Required for This Role Proven experience in a leadership role with responsibility for both commercial and day-to-day operations.

Strong commercial understanding including revenue growth, margin management, budgeting and cost control.

Clear understanding of how to add value to the Company's services, both print and brand design.

A track record of building a performance-driven culture, setting clear expectations and holding people accountable.

Client-facing experience, with the ability to build trust and manage senior relationships.

Confidence operating at leadership level within a wider group or multi-business environment.

An ability to think outside the box.

High levels of creative flair, innovation and marketing solutions.
