Artemis Human Capital are recruiting for a Commercial Excellence & Operations Lead to act as the operational extension for the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of a global FMCG firm. You will drive execution, coordination and commercial effectiveness across the business. This is a highly visible role providing the critical link between strategy and execution, giving the CCO the space to focus on strategic growth while you keep the commercial engine running smoothly.

What you'll do:

  • Act as the primary operational support to the CCO and commercial leadership team, coordinating priorities and driving follow-up and accountability across the commercial function.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting and business review processes.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with our external marketing agency, coordinating campaigns, events, customer communications and product launches.
  • Coordinate commercial incentive and commission programmes, working closely with Finance and HR to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Support key customer relationships attending meetings, tracking actions, maintaining account plans and preparing executive briefings and reviews.
  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, turning sales, pipeline, customer and market data into clear commercial insight.
  • Prepare briefing packs and analysis for CCO meetings, Board updates and leadership reviews.
  • Track strategic projects and support wider commercial growth initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Commercial Management, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • 5+ years in commercial operations, sales operations, commercial excellence or business support, ideally within FMCG or a similarly fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI capability.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to turn data into practical action.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and working with leadership teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel for customer meetings and business needs.
