We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected business to recruit an Accounts Officer for their busy finance team based in Belfast. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first-line support for all incoming financial enquiries
  • Assist with the management of credit control processes
  • Process sales and purchase invoices across high-volume ledgers
  • Support reconciliations of nominal ledgers
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Director and wider finance team
  • Produce weekly and monthly finance reports as required
  • Assist with general administrative duties within a busy finance department
  • Liaise with internal departments including Sales and Operations
  • Support the wider finance function with ad hoc duties as required

Who We're Looking For

  • Strong aptitude for administrative and finance-related tasks
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience within a finance environment would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work
  • Motivated individual with a desire to learn and progress within finance
