Artemis Human Capital is working in partnership with a highly regarded accountancy practice in East Belfast as they look to appoint an Accounts Assistant to their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who enjoys variety in their workload and building strong client relationships. This newly created position reflects the firm's continued growth and offers the chance to work closely with both the accounts and tax teams, gaining exposure to a diverse and interesting client base.

The Role

  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a range of clients
  • Processing end-to-end payroll on a regular basis
  • Liaising directly with clients to handle queries and provide support
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
  • At least 1-2 years experience in an accounts-focused role
  • Strong payroll knowledge and confidence managing payroll processes
  • IATI qualification or currently working towards it (desirable)
  • A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
