Artemis Human Capital is pleased to be partnering with a growing & dynamic local accountancy firm. Working within the close-knit team, you will work across a modern & truly enviable client portfolio gaining experience across a diverse portfolio of accounting, tax & advisory work. This is a non-audit role that will work in a hands‑on capacity with their fantastic client portfolio.

This exciting opportunity will give the successful applicant exposure across the following areas:

  • Advising & supporting clients in the management of their businesses, including the preparation & interpretation of management accounts, short-term cash budgeting & longer-term financial modelling.
  • Advising clients on their tax affairs, including capital gains advice & planning, VAT advice & support, and R&D tax relief.
  • Keeping clients compliant with all relevant regulations, including preparation of stat accounts in accordance with FRS102 & FRS 105, the preparation of personal & corporate tax returns, and the preparation of VAT returns.

The Ideal Candidate… To be considered for this career defining opportunity, you will possess the following criteria:

  • Part or newly qualified through ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong recent experience working within accountancy practice, preferably across accounts & tax.
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also collaboratively with the wider team.
