We are working exclusively with a well established NI business who are seeking a commercial Finance Director to join its Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in the next phase of strategic growth.
Operating in an innovative sector and delivering complex, high-value projects - the business has invested heavily over recent years in preparation for their targeted growth (both organically and via acquisition).
This is a board-level appointment reporting directly to the CEO, offering significant influence across both strategic and operational decision-making.
This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded Finance Director who combines strong financial leadership with strategic insight and operational understanding.
Working closely with the executive team, you will lead the finance function while helping to drive business performance, improve systems and processes, and support long-term growth initiatives across the organisation.
The Package (negotiable but below is the ballpark) £90k - £120k base salary 15% bonus 6% employer pension 33 days leave (inc stats) Private medical Onsite parking Key Responsibilities Provide strategic financial leadership as a member of the senior leadership team and board.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and performance reporting.
Deliver commercial insight and analysis to support decision making and growth initiatives.
Oversee all aspects of financial control, governance, compliance and risk management.
Manage cashflow, working capital and banking relationships.
Support investment decisions, capital expenditure planning and operational expansion.
Partner with manufacturing and operational teams to improve profitability, efficiency and reporting.
Drive improvements in costing, inventory control, WIP visibility and margin analysis.
Lead ERP optimisation and digital transformation initiatives.
Develop and mentor high-performing finance and IT teams.
The Candidate ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership position.
Strong commercial and operational finance capability.
Experience operating as part of an executive or senior leadership team.
Experience of ERP systems and business transformation programmes.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
A hands-on, pragmatic and collaborative approach.
