Artemis Human Capital is delighted to bring this dynamic new Assistant Management Accountant role to the market. This is perfect for an experienced part qualified Management Accountant, seeking to develop broad operational Management Accounting experience in a highly commercial setting.

The key purpose of the role is to prepare management accounting information for review by the Management Accountant. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts;
  • Report on sales and profitability with supporting analysis to ensure margin maximised;
  • Monthly review sessions with Commercial partners to ensure Financial Control implemented and clear accountability in place;
  • Lead in the preparation and reporting of overhead expenditure against budget variances including applicable explanatory commentary and presentation to FCs & budget holders;
  • Support the Management Accountant and FC on annual budget preparation and statutory audit, including dealing with queries/preparing reports;

You will be a part qualified accountant or qualified ATI with at least 2-3 years current experience in a Management Accounting setting. You should have:

  • Ability to manipulate large data sets accurately, undertake root cause analysis and provide insightful information to management and clients;
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
  • The ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, and communicate at all levels internally and externally.
