The Job… Reporting to the payroll manager, you will be involved across the following: Processing client payrolls within approved timeframes. Address any client payroll queries. Calculate employee’s salary as per instruction by clients (i.e. sick pay, holiday pay, SMP etc.). Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding any PAYE queries. The Ideal Candidate… To be considered for this position, you will ideally possess the following criteria: 3+ years experience working as a payroll professional in either an accountancy practice or a payroll bureau. Sage experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential. Good working knowledge of current payroll legislation.
