Financial Controller Antrim Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with an established and respected family-run automotive business to recruit a Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function, working closely with the management team and reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate and timely management information, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the business in maximising profitability, performance and cash flow. The Role Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets and year-end statutory files Manage payroll and associated administration. Ensure compliance across VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax. Manage banking and cash flow, including payment runs and stock funding. Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, inter-company accounts, stock and work in progress. Provide financial reporting and insight to departmental managers. Lead and support a small accounts team, ensuring consistent and accurate processes. The Person An accounting qualification or significant relevant experience. Strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of the finance function. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A commercially aware and proactive approach. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. A professional and accountable approach, with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
