We are working with a well-established and highly regarded business operating in a busy, fast-paced environment. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will provide broad support across the finance function, including cash office, accounts payable, and management accounts. The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to core accounting processes within a collaborative and well-structured finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant who enjoys a varied, detail-focused role and is confident working in a transactional and deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation and posting of cash, credit card, and other payments
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals and accruals
- Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts and supporting schedules
- Preparation of statutory returns, including VAT, VIES, and Intrastat
- Processing and payment of supplier invoices
Who We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
