GR Employment Ltd is looking for a Class 1 Driver to work for one of our clients based in Liverpool, Stonebridge area. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.
Responsibilities:
- As a Collection and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels to customers while providing excellent customer service.
- This role involves significant manual handling and requires individuals who are physically fit, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Use handheld devices and company software to update delivery statuses and record proof of delivery.
Qualifications:
- Have a valid UK licence.
- Have a valid Driver CPC (regardless of driving onsite or offsite).
- Have a Driver Digital Tachograph Card and use it at all times when driving (both onsite or offsite).
- At least 1 year's experience driving Class 1.
- For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
- Digital tachograph and CPC cards.
- Have a minimum of 12 months of experience for Class 1.
- Be professional at all times.
- Have a flexible approach to work.
- No INI10, TT99 or DR10.
Shifts available:
- Monday to Friday.
- Start time 9 AM.
- Pay rate: £16.36 per hour.
- Overtime rate: £24.54 per hour (paid after 40 hours).
