COOK is seeking a Pastry Chef / Team Leader to join its Pastry & Pies kitchen in Sittingbourne. This role offers a permanent position with hours from Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm. COOK is a family-owned B Corp committed to sustainability, community, and exceptional food.

What We're Looking For

  • Ensure all ingredients meet exacting standards of freshness and quality
  • Prepare dishes with precise portion control and consistency
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef on daily planning and service excellence
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Work collaboratively across sections to deliver efficient service in a busy kitchen
  • Previous experience as a chef, NVQ Level 1 and 2 (or equivalent in catering)
