Our established client is seeking an experienced Technical Instructor to deliver high-quality technical training within their organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional to transition into or further develop a career in instruction and training, passing on specialist knowledge to engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging technical training courses and programmes
  • Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Deliver practical and theory-based instruction to groups and individuals
  • Assess trainee competency and maintain accurate training records
  • Keep technical knowledge and course content up to date with industry developments
  • Support trainees through their learning journey and provide constructive feedback
  • Liaise with management on training needs, programme design, and reporting

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong technical background in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline
  • Previous experience in a training, instruction, or supervisory/mentoring role
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to varying audiences
  • Recognised technical qualifications (apprenticeship or HNC/HND or higher desirable)
  • Teaching or instructional qualification desirable but not essential
