Our established client is seeking an organised and detail-focused Sales Order Processor to join their busy team. This is a varied administrative role supporting the sales function by ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from receipt through to despatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Liaise with customers, the sales team, and warehouse/production to coordinate order fulfilment
- Manage order amendments, cancellations, and any queries
- Raise and issue order acknowledgements, invoices, and delivery documentation
- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers
- Maintain accurate records on the internal order management system
- Handle general administrative tasks as required
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a sales order processing or similar administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
