Job Type: Part Time / Temporary

Pay: £13.02 per hour

Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pm

Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour

Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour

Shift Available: Monday to Friday: 15:00 – 19:00pm

About:

GR Employment Ltd are looking for part-time Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operatives on behalf of one of our customers who are a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics. The position is based in Kingsway Interchange. This is a temporary placement, but for the right candidate could go permanent.

The Operations Processor is a hands-on role, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre. Working directly with secure, customs-cleared shipments, you will be required to ensure that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials and shipments are processed and loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe and time-efficient manner. You will be required to scan and distribute material within the service centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Scan/process shipments
  • Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Manual lifting of shipments is required
  • Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of the shift

No experience needed. Security training will be given when required.

Security checks:

As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening including a 5-year history check and UK criminal record check.
