An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council’s Tenant and Leaseholder Services as a Responsive Repairs Coordinator. We’re a dynamic, forward-thinking service committed to delivering excellent housing repairs and maintenance. As part of our team, you’ll play a central role in making sure our residents receive the timely, high-quality repairs service they deserve — while working alongside inspectors, contractors, and colleagues to keep everything running seamlessly.

As a Responsive Repairs Coordinator, you’ll be the hub of our repairs service — making sure requests are logged accurately, issues are followed through, and contractors are supported to deliver on time and to standard. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will directly improve the service we provide to our tenants and leaseholders.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the responsive repairs team with essential administration, ensuring accurate records of all repair requests, complex issues, and maintenance at void properties.
- Acting as the central link between inspectors, contractors, internal teams, and external partners to resolve repair requests quickly and effectively.
- Coordinating the flow of information around the acquisition of new social housing stock, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Building positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and external services to make sure repairs are handled efficiently and professionally.
