Are you an experienced Construction Professional looking to make a significant impact? Thanet District Council is seeking a dynamic and results oriented individual to lead and manage our capital and planned maintenance programme of works for the council's property assets.
Your primary focus will be on achieving the delivery of our ambitious Capital and Planned Maintenance Programme. You will play a key role in managing and developing a portfolio of large complex property related projects, including construction, property and waste management projects, in accordance with the council’s approved project management framework, ensuring that key project outputs are delivered and that costs and timescales are effectively managed leading to successful completion. In addition, you will also support the commercial property management function relating to property matters.
We seek a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong foundation in construction management and project delivery, a comprehensive understanding of Local Government legislation and the regulatory framework regarding procurement in the public sector. A proven experience in construction project management, specification and successful project delivery within both commercial property and a Local Authority/Local Government or public sector context.
