Location: Maidstone

Pay: £15.05 per hour

Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pm

Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour

Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour

Overtime is paid after 45 hours at time and a half

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday with start time between 8:30am - 06:30 pm (one hour unpaid break)

About: GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Maidstone, Panattoni Park area. This role will involve delivering & collecting parcels within the local area & will require you to be a fit, dedicated individual with a good attention to detail & excellent customer service. This is a temporary position that may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely driving and operating an LGV to deliver and collect secure shipments
  • Planning and managing your daily routes to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Ensuring the security of shipments and compliance with company policies and legal regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid C1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Flexibility to handle varying workloads and operational peaks
  • Commitment to working safely within the EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Minimum 21 years old, no more than 9 penalty points within the last 3 years

Security checks: As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening including a 5-year history check and UK criminal record check.
