About GR Employment Ltd is currently recruiting a 7.5-tonne Courier Driver to be based at one of our key customer sites in Leicester, the Glenfield area. This role involves the daily delivery and collection of shipments, ensuring that our customers enjoy a consistently high-quality service enhanced by your speed, passion, and a can-do attitude. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.
As a Collection and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels to customers while providing excellent customer service. This role involves significant manual handling and requires individuals who are physically fit, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Use handheld devices and company software to update delivery statuses and record proof of delivery
- Have a valid UK licence
- Have a valid Driver CPC (regardless of driving onsite or offsite)
- Have a Driver Digital Tachograph Card and use it at all times when driving
- At least 1 year's experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles or similar
- For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years
