Are you somebody who genuinely enjoys IT support rather than wanting to move away from it?
Do you take pride in being the person people rely on to solve problems quickly, calmly, and professionally?
Are you highly confident supporting Apple technology, mobile devices, Wi‑Fi, and modern technology environments?
We are recruiting for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a highly professional and fast‑moving organisation with a multi‑site environment and an established internal IT team.
This role sits slightly differently from a traditional IT support position.
While you will work alongside a wider IT function, your primary focus will be supporting the day‑to‑day technology experience of senior stakeholders, their wider support staff, and associated personal technology environments.
The wider business employs around 100 staff across multiple locations, with an established IT team already in place.
However, this role requires somebody who can offer a more personal, hands‑on, and highly responsive level of support across both business and lifestyle technology environments.
This is a role for somebody who enjoys variety, really likes supporting people, and is comfortable operating in both professional and private technology environments.
A strong Apple background is particularly important for this role.
You should be highly confident supporting Apple devices and ecosystems alongside broader Microsoft and networking technologies.
One day you may be troubleshooting Microsoft 365 issues or improving Wi‑Fi infrastructure across multiple sites, and the next you could be assisting with Apple devices, mobile technology, home entertainment systems, or supporting remote working and travel requirements.
No two days will look the same.
• What you will be doing
- Providing highly responsive IT support to senior stakeholders and support staff
- Supporting Apple devices and Apple ecosystems
- Managing and troubleshooting i Phones, i Pads, Mac Books, Apple TV, and related technologies
- Supporting Android mobile devices
- Supporting Microsoft 365 and Exchange environments
- Maintaining and improving Wi‑Fi and connectivity across multiple sites
- Assisting with smart TVs, Sky systems, gaming consoles, and entertainment technology
- Providing both remote and in‑person support
- Helping assess existing infrastructure and recommending improvements where appropriate
- Supporting hardware, software, and general day‑to‑day technical issues
- Occasionally providing out‑of‑hours or remote support when required
• What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a hands‑on IT Support role
- Strong Apple / Mac support experience
- Somebody who genuinely enjoys IT support and helping users
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across a broad technical environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A calm, adaptable, and service‑led approach
- Somebody trustworthy, discreet, and highly professional
- Comfortable working across multiple locations when required
- Full driving licence preferred
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly modern and fast‑moving environment where technology plays an important role across both business operations and lifestyle environments.
