Hourly Rate: £14.80 per hour

About: GR Employment Ltd are looking for part-time Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operatives on behalf of one of our customers who is a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics. The position is based in Huntingdon, the Lightning Park area. We're looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.
Key focus areas / challenges expected:
- Precise and careful handling of shipments
- Working to tight timeframes and deadlines
- Demonstrating excellent teamwork
Responsibilities:
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Scan/process shipments
- Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Manual lifting of shipments is required
- Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of the shift
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required
No experience needed. Security training will be given when required.
Security checks:
As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening in accordance with aviation security regulations. This process will include:
- Applicants will need to provide a 5-year history check or equivalent documentation to meet regulatory/security requirements
- A UK criminal record check
