Location: Huntingdon

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 6:30pm (hours may vary depending on traffic and volume levels; 1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Pay: £16.17 per hour

Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pm

Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour

Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour

Overtime is paid after 45 hours at time and a half.

This is a temporary placement, but strong performance could lead to a permanent position.

About: GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Huntingdon, the Lightning Park area. You will be a frontline representative of the company, responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of secure shipments to and from our Service Centre and Hub facilities. The post holder is directly responsible for enhancing the customer experience at every stage through a conscientious and dedicated approach to tasks. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience in a multi-drop courier role preferred but not required
  • Security Training will be given when required
  • Minimum 21 years old, no more than 9 penalty points within the last 3 years
  • Security checks: As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening including a 5-year history check and UK criminal record check.
