PSM Recruitment have an exciting opening for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join a busy and established freight team based in Folkestone, supporting and developing freight forwarding operations within the French department. In this varied role, you will manage the full coordination of customer shipments — selecting the most suitable transport solutions, monitoring deliveries, liaising with customers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Coordinating import and export shipments
  • Arranging customs clearance documentation
  • Liaising with customers, carriers and suppliers
  • Monitoring deliveries and providing shipment updates
  • Ensuring freight moves efficiently across borders

We’re Looking For Someone With:

  • Previous freight forwarding / logistics experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 09:00 to 17:30.
