Location: London

Head Office: Chatham, Kent

Salary: £31,500.00 per annum plus overtime

Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates after core hours

Also includes: Monthly KPI bonus; salary includes 12 Saturdays worked PA

Hours: 37.5 per week, mainly Monday to Friday

The role is offered as full time and permanent, paid monthly – PAYE.

Full UK driving licence required.

About: Our client is a leading facilities and maintenance specialist, specialising in the maintenance, auditing, and deep cleaning of IT infrastructure, technical hardware, and data centres. Field Technicians visit client sites independently or as part of a small team, carrying out essential technical cleaning and maintenance work. Our client is seeking a Field Technician covering clients mainly in the Home Counties and London, with opportunity to work further afield and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining delivery/parcel locker systems and ATMs
  • Carrying out technical cleaning in data centres, server rooms, and communications rooms
  • Conducting physical IT hardware and customer equipment audits
  • Completing site visit reports and client documentation
  • Representing the business professionally at customer-facing visits

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Technical aptitude (e.g. computer technician, technical assembler)
  • Reliable, organised, confident working independently
  • Full UK driving licence – no more than 6 points (essential)
  • Passport and UK work authorisation (essential)
  • Full 5-year UK residency and employment history (essential)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • IT literacy (training provided)
  • Willingness to travel long distances and stay away from home occasionally
  • Willingness to undergo DBS check and Government SC clearance within 2–6 months
