About:
Due to ongoing growth, a market leader in the field of loading and unloading solutions are now looking for additional Field Service Engineers to join their national service team providing 24/7 coverage to their customer base. Based from home and after initial training, as Field Service Engineer you will be travelling to customer sites throughout the south west and be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of lifting platforms, dock levellers, industrial doors, protection systems and controls as well as be part of the 1 in 5 weeks on-call rota.
You will ideally:
- Be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrate previous experience of working within a field service capacity with a track record in the repair and maintenance of plant, machinery or equipment
- Possess a good mechanical aptitude
- Have had some exposure to hydraulics and general fault finding on electrics
