The Electronics Engineer Role

You will help develop innovative electronic designs from concept through to prototype, validation and manufacture. Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing analogue and electronic circuits.
  • Producing schematics and supporting PCB development.
  • Building, testing and validating prototypes.
  • Carrying out board bring-up, fault-finding and design improvement.
  • Taking ownership of projects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Working with colleagues and manufacturing partners to move designs into production.
  • Helping shape engineering standards and technical direction.
  • Supporting and mentoring other engineers where appropriate.

About You

You will be a practical and ambitious Electronics Engineer with

  • Professional electronic product or circuit design experience.
  • A good understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB development.
  • Strong laboratory, testing and fault-finding skills.
  • The ability to turn technical ideas into reliable, manufacturable designs.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for innovative technology.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience with Altium Designer, SPICE, embedded C, Python, high-current systems or taking products into manufacture would be advantageous but is not essential.

Senior or Lead-level applicants should be able to demonstrate experience leading designs, mentoring engineers or influencing technical direction.
