Our manufacturing client on the outskirts of Dartford is seeking a Production Team Leader. The role is offered as a full-time, permanent position, leading an experienced production team of around 40 staff in two departments: assembly and testing.
The Team Leader must be goal-driven and ensure that all production expectations and demands are met, ensuring customer needs are achieved in an on-time manner. Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for daily production and planning in their area.
- Organise production teams.
- Provide leadership and direction to the production teams.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and electronic (Email and Teams).
- Must be able to multitask.
- Communicate with other department heads and ensure that all policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Be hands-on and able to support team members.
Experience Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in managing a team in manufacturing – ideally electronics.
- Good level of education.
