Westin Par is recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial interior design and fit-out business specialising in the creation of high-end workplace environments. We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with a minimum of four years' commercial office fit-out experience to join a growing and successful team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on premium workplace projects, taking ownership from concept through to completion. Based primarily from the company's Faversham studio, the role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial office fit-out projects.

The Role

  • Lead commercial workplace and office fit-out projects from concept through to completion
  • Develop creative design concepts, space plans and presentation materials
  • Produce and oversee technical drawing packages
  • Create bespoke joinery details and technical specifications
  • Manage FF&FE specifications, procurement and installation
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout project delivery
  • Present design proposals and project updates directly to clients
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional design standards

About You

  • Minimum four years' experience within commercial office fit-out interior design
  • Proven experience delivering workplace projects from concept through to completion
  • Strong design, technical and space-planning capabilities
  • Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and bespoke joinery detailing
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills
  • Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Strong client-facing and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple fast-paced projects
  • Adaptable, organised and commercially aware

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Ability to travel to client sites and company offices as required
  • Ideally based in Kent or the surrounding area
