Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative Stores Person to join them. The role is open to candidates with an in-date FLT certificate or experience of driving a CB or Reach FLT truck.
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for advised material movement and storage within the Warehouse, Goods-in and Stores areas.
Warehouse Operative Duties:
- Matching of delivery notes with purchase orders
- Storing of components and products received, updating related records β for every physical action an electronic record will take place
- Maintaining Kanban areas belonging to the shop floor
- Performing stock checks
- Assisting in perpetual inventory and stock take duties β when a location is empty, informing the procurement team, the team leader and production planner via email/team, and checking stock is correct via device
- Adhering to H&S requirements including Near Miss reporting
- Supporting with housekeeping aspects relating to tidiness, maintenance and safety of the Warehouse, Goods-in, Stores, Yard and equipment
- Carrying out reasonable additional duties as assigned by a Team Leader
- Resolving issues within stores/goods in relating to stock movement, discrepancies or paperwork
- Pick and pack operations
