As a Course Administration Officer you can expect to be involved in:

  • Leading on skilled tasks within the Course Admin Office to ensure the effective running of course and programme administration and compliance.
  • Deputising for the Course Admin Manager to ensure quality and high standards are maintained, and attending networking opportunities.
  • Through a system of regular and rigorous data validation, ensuring that system data is reliable, of high quality, and consistent with the University’s regulations and business processes.
  • As a highly skilled specialist user, assist in the creation and maintenance of core functionality on Kent systems, to enable core administration and retain accuracy of all student records.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Experienced user of databases and student record-keeping.
  • Experience of using complex spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis.
  • Experience of making decisions based on complex rules and guidance from multiple sources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - establishing relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds.

As a member of our team, you can expect a friendly, open and collaborative working environment and support in your development and wellbeing. You'll enjoy a range of great staff benefits including:

  • Hybrid working options allowing a flexible blend of office and home working (to be agreed in line with business needs).
  • 43 days' leave per year (personal leave, bank holidays and additional days allocated for the Christmas period, pro rata for part-time staff).
  • Excellent pension scheme with generous employer contributions.
  • Corporate employee-funded healthcare plan, in partnership with Benenden Health.
