The role requires an experienced Business Development Manager to carry out Field Sales (new and existing business). Successful candidates will be confident at booking face-to-face meetings, retaining and gaining new business opportunities.

You will be selling tools, maintenance and mechanical equipment, bearings, lubricant, workshop consumables, filtration units, PPE, janitorial products and services such as electric motor repair/replace, hydraulic services, pump overhaul/replace. Working with clients in manufacturing, construction, aggregates, electro-mechanical, food and beverage, rail, waste and recycling, energy and power generation.

Business Development Manager Field Sales duties:
  • Arrange and book appointments for face-to-face site visits with customers.
  • Set strategy, track, and deliver sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develop positive relationships with existing customers.
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Establish and grow relationships with our preferred suppliers.
  • Have a proven track record within a sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to deliver projects on time and to budget.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, MS Office and virtual meeting platforms.
