Are you an experienced HR professional with a solid generalist background and a genuine passion for making a difference through people? Do you enjoy working autonomously, building strong relationships with managers, with a solutions-focused approach? We are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and ambitious organisation to appoint a People Advisor at an exciting period of growth and change.

This is a true generalist role where you will have real ownership and influence across all areas of HR, working closely with a collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team. The role will include:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on employment law, HR policy and best practice
  • Leading and supporting complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
  • Coaching and upskilling line managers to build people management capability across the business
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment activity as the business continues to grow
  • Supporting organisational change, restructuring and business improvement projects
  • Administering HR documentation including contracts, variations and lifecycle paperwork
  • Producing HR reports and utilising the HRIS to support informed business decisions
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies in line with current legislation
  • Contributing to a variety of strategic HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About you:

  • Experienced HR generalist, confident working in a standalone or autonomous capacity
  • Strong employee relations case management experience with a solid working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience, currently studying also considered

The package: Alongside a salary of £38,000, our client offers an attractive benefits package including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service, enhanced pension scheme, along with a range of additional perks designed to support your health, wellbeing and lifestyle.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Working pattern: On-site with flexible start and finish times.
