Our Client is looking for an HR Advisor (or HR Assistant with some Employee relations and full employee lifecycle experience) with energy, drive and a growth mindset. You will have a genuine opportunity to develop your HR and coaching skills and gain experience across all areas of HR. You will provide valuable support for the smooth running of HR provision, acting in an advisory capacity within this thriving, innovative manufacturing business. Some of the key HR Advisor responsibilities include:

  • Provide pragmatic and solutions-focused HR advice to managers, helping to prevent escalation of issues and embedding HR best practice.
  • Act as a trusted coach to managers, supporting them in effectively managing performance, the performance management cycle, absence, and other people-related matters.
  • Lead and support performance management processes, ensuring alignment with succession planning principles and organisational goals.
  • Undertake or support managers with investigations, disciplinary hearings, and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies at all times.
  • Manage the full employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, retention, and exit processes.
  • Oversee recruitment campaigns end-to-end.
  • Conduct analysis, reporting, and interpretation of HR data (e.g., absence trends, turnover, performance outcomes) to provide insights that inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and contribute to management review meetings, presenting HR metrics, trends, and recommendations.
  • Support the development and delivery of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
  • Deliver HR presentations and briefings to managers and employees, ensuring key messages are clearly communicated.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and projects, ensuring alignment with best practice and organisational needs.
  • Manage employee training and development processes, liaising with stakeholders to identify needs, arrange courses, and monitor completion.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, embedding these principles into HR processes and workplace culture.
