We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the HR function across all core activities. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in HR and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced UK workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR administration and employee records
- Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination
- Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment, and onboarding documents
- Maintain accurate HR files in line with GDPR requirements
- Support absence management and holiday records
- Assist with payroll data preparation (hours, starters, leavers)
- Handle employee queries professionally and confidentially
- Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance activities
- Assist with training records and learning administration
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role (preferred)
- Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Right to work in the UK
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
- Knowledge of UK employment practices
