We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the HR function across all core activities.

This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in HR and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced UK workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day HR administration and employee records
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment, and onboarding documents
  • Maintain accurate HR files in line with GDPR requirements
  • Support absence management and holiday records
  • Assist with payroll data preparation (hours, starters, leavers)
  • Handle employee queries professionally and confidentially
  • Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance activities
  • Assist with training records and learning administration

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative role (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Right to work in the UK
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
  • Knowledge of UK employment practices
  • Experience using HR systems or ATS platforms
