The Role
As a Senior Consulting Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-impact data and AI transformation programmes for our clients. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, and contribute to the commercial growth of the consulting practice. Reporting to the Consulting Director, you will be responsible for managing complex engagements, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the development of our consulting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and deliver large-scale consulting engagements focused on data, AI, and digital transformation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including Director and C-level executives.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, impact, and client satisfaction.
- Translate complex data and analytics solutions into clear business value for clients.
- Manage project governance, timelines, budgets, and risk management.
- Team Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of consultants, data scientists, data engineers, and digital specialists.
- Coach and mentor Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers, supporting their professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Support recruitment and talent development within the consulting practice.
- Commercial Growth & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Contribute to account growth strategies and client portfolio development.
- Lead the development of client proposals, commercial pitches, and RFP responses.
- Support the commercial pipeline management and revenue growth of the consulting practice.
- Practice Development
- Contribute to the development of Artefact’s consulting methodologies, frameworks, and offerings.
- Share knowledge and best practices across teams at both local and global levels.
- Support thought leadership initiatives and contribute to industry insights, whitepapers, and client events.
- Help shape the future growth of the consulting practice in Data & AI transformation.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of your career at a tier 1 consulting firm and 4+ years of experience managing projects and/or clients.
- Proven experience leading consulting engagements and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of data, AI, analytics, and digital transformation programmes.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting sales, proposals, and account growth.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior executives.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision making.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive attitude with the ability to identify opportunities and drive impact.
