About the SEO Team
- 20+ strong SEO team based in London and Cornwall, UK
- A close-knit team who work hard but also have a lot of fun
- Operate in an open and inclusive way
- The team is made up of SEO generalists, technical SEO experts, SEO content writers and Digital PR specialists
- Great collaboration between our main London office and our satellite Cornwall office
- Work with clients across automotive, luxury fashion, travel, charity, technology sectors and more!

Main Responsibilities
- Support in leading a multidisciplinary SEO team across Technical SEO, Content, Analytics, and Digital PR
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
- Updating the wider agency in the monthly Townhall RE SEO & Commercials
- Define best practice methodologies and ensure full integration with all Organic projects
- Work closely with senior leadership to support operational planning and management of SEO tools and partnerships
- Lead integrated SEO and AI Search strategies across a portfolio of enterprise and global clients
- Act as a senior strategic advisor on evolving search behaviours
- Facilitate the implementation of efficiencies across SEO/GEO workflows
- Track record of growing organic traffic and revenue at scale
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Lead thinking around AI Search / GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)
- Advise clients on visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and others
- Stay ahead of industry developments and bring innovative thinking into client work
Skills and Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in SEO, including significant experience in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong expertise across all pillars of SEO and AI Search/GEO
- Deep understanding of evolving search ecosystems
- Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting business growth
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience defining and delivering integrated search strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical understanding of SEO principles
- Experience identifying opportunities to automate workflows
- Experience embedding AI into team ways of working
- Experience measuring and improving visibility across AI Search platforms
- Familiarity with data infrastructure and reporting environments
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives
- Understanding of UX, CRO, and digital experience principles
- Curiosity for emerging technologies and a track record of introducing innovation
