We are seeking a Senior SAP IS-U Data Migration Consultant with extensive experience in SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (IS-U). The ideal candidate will lead and manage large-scale data migration projects, focusing on S/4HANA transformation. This position requires a strong technical leader who can effectively design and execute data migration strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on SAP consulting experience
- At least 5 years of experience with the SAP IS-U module, including Billing, Invoicing, Device Management, and FI-CA
- Proven experience in at least three large-scale, end-to-end IS-U data migration projects
- Proficiency with SAP migration tools such as LTMC, BODS, or similar ETL tools
- Strong understanding of S/4HANA data model changes relevant to the IS-U module
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- SAP IS-U or S/4HANA certification
- Experience with cloud-based SAP environments, such as S/4HANA Cloud
- Consulting experience within the public sector or large transit utility organizations
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end IS-U data migration strategy, planning, and execution
- Design complex data mapping rules and transformation logic for utility master data migration
- Execute data migration using SAP tools like SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and SAP Data Services
- Establish procedures for data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and post-migration data quality assurance
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to develop custom migration objects and interfaces
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
