Grants Henry Moore Institute Grants & Fellowships

International Deadline: September 1; December 1, 2025 – The Henry Moore Institute is a world-recognised centre for the study of sculpture. We host a year-round programme of exhibitions, conferences and lectures, as well as developing research and publications to expand the understanding and scholarship of sculpture. Each year, we offer a number of Fellowships to enable artists and researchers to develop their work.

New Projects and Commissions: Awarding grants for exhibitions, exhibition catalogues, and commissions that encourage new thinking about sculpture.

Research and Development: Enabling individuals and organisations to conduct extensive research projects focused on sculpture.

Artist Research Fellowships: Designed for artists to develop their practice through research, utilizing the Institute’s resources. Fellowships support various visual arts practices and outcomes generated through research into sculpture and its histories.

Research Fellows will have the opportunity to spend a month in Leeds. Additionally, up to two six-week Senior Fellowships are available for established scholars to develop research projects free from usual work commitments.

About: The Henry Moore Foundation, established in 1977 by artist Henry Moore, is a registered charity dedicated to promoting public appreciation of the visual arts, especially Moore’s works. Its responsibilities include preserving Moore’s legacy, funding exhibitions and research at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds, and granting support to arts organizations in the UK and internationally.
