About The Role
This role is ideal for an experienced paralegal looking to build on their residential conveyancing expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You will manage your own sale and purchase caseload under the supervision of a senior lawyer, with access to market-leading case management systems and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Reviewing contract packs and raising appropriate legal enquiries
- Preparing and delivering advice to clients throughout the transaction
- Drafting and approving legal documentation with supervision
- Preparing accounts paperwork and SDLT returns
- Managing exchange and completion of contracts
- Supervising Conveyancing Assistants and mentoring junior staff
- Liaising with clients, third parties, and referrers throughout the matter lifecycle
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to firm policies
- Attending client meetings and handling communications professionally
About You
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a residential conveyancing department
- Confident handling freehold sale and purchase transactions
- Experience with leasehold and newbuild is advantageous but not essential
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
- Strong communicator with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office essential
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
- Please note: this is an office-based role, with no hybrid working at present
